Captain Palestine is an online platform that allows users to create personalized, AI-illustrated storybooks celebrating heritage and culture. Users provide character details, select story themes, and receive digitally generated storybooks.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to circumvent any rate limiting or security measures.
  • Resell or redistribute generated content for commercial purposes without permission.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the character details and personalization inputs you provide. Once a storybook is generated and paid for, you own a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, print, and share your personalized storybook for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Our content: The Captain Palestine brand, website design, story templates, and underlying technology remain the property of Captain Palestine. The AI-generated illustrations are created using third-party AI models and are licensed to you as part of your purchased storybook.

6. Payments and Refunds

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Prices are displayed in your selected currency and include applicable fees.
  • Due to the personalized nature of our products, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with your storybook, contact us within 14 days of purchase.
  • If a technical error prevents delivery of your storybook, you will receive a full refund or a replacement at no extra cost.

7. AI-Generated Content

Storybook illustrations are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality and cultural accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain imperfections. We do not guarantee that every illustration will be flawless. If you are unsatisfied with the output, please contact us to discuss options.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Captain Palestine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases, but your license to any previously purchased storybooks remains in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
