• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full credit card number.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and anonymized analytics collected via PostHog.

3. Photo Uploads

If you upload a photo for reference, it is used solely to guide AI illustration style. Photos are processed in memory during generation and are immediately deleted. We do not store, retain, or share uploaded photos.

4. Children's Privacy

Captain Palestine is designed for parents and guardians to create books for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All account creation and data entry is performed by the parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

• To create and deliver your personalized storybooks.
• To process payments and manage your account.

6. Third-Party Services

We share information only with the following service providers, solely to operate Captain Palestine:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• fal.ai for AI image generation (receives character attributes only, no personal identifiers).
• Cloudflare R2 for secure asset storage.
• PostHog for anonymized product analytics.
• Resend for transactional emails.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and access controls to protect your information.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to track anonymous usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
